Privacy Policy
Everyday Manuals ("we," "us," "our") sells downloadable guides at everydaymanuals.help. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Information we collect
- Your email address, which you provide at checkout so we can send your receipt and reach you about your purchase.
- Payment information is entered on Stripe's checkout, not on our site. We never see or store your full card number. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded and the email you used.
- Basic technical data collected automatically when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device, referring page, and the pages you view. This is standard server and analytics information.
We do not ask for your name, address, or phone number, and we have no accounts or logins.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to run the site and measure our advertising:
- The Meta (Facebook) Pixel. If you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram ad, this tool tells us whether the ad led to a visit or a purchase, so we can measure and improve our ads. It may set cookies and share limited event data (such as a page view or a purchase) with Meta. It does not receive your card details.
- Hosting and performance. Our host, Vercel, processes standard request logs to serve the site securely.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising through Meta's ad settings or tools like the Digital Advertising Alliance.
How we use your information
- To deliver the product you bought and send your receipt.
- To answer your questions and handle refunds.
- To measure and improve our advertising and our site.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
We do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to, and we do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that make the business run, and only as needed:
- Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Meta Platforms — advertising measurement via the Pixel. See Meta's privacy policy.
- Vercel — website hosting. See Vercel's privacy policy.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep purchase and receipt records as long as needed for support, accounting, and tax purposes. Technical logs are kept for a short period and then discarded.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or delete the information we hold about you. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have additional rights over your data. To make a request, email everydaymanuals@gmail.com and we'll respond.
Children
This site is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS, and payments are handled by Stripe on their own secure systems. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the little we hold.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
